Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to find an event, book a place and take part. Our goal is to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across the website and event management system.

Current status

This statement covers LearnersBench pages on learnersbench.com, including organiser event pages and staff tools. We have not completed a comprehensive WCAG 2.2 AA audit of every journey, so we cannot yet claim full compliance. Features we have implemented include:

  • A skip link to the main content on public and staff pages.
  • Reduced animation when your device requests reduced motion.
  • Responsive layouts and labelled controls in the main booking flows.

These measures do not prove that every page meets every WCAG success criterion. We have not yet documented a full manual keyboard, screen-reader, contrast and zoom assessment.

Known limitations

  • Documents uploaded by event organisers may not always meet the same standard. Ask the organiser for an accessible version and we will help.
  • Embedded videos rely on captions provided by the organiser. Tell us if a video is missing captions and we will chase it.
  • Third-party payment pages, maps, video players and organiser-added content are not entirely under our control. We will help you find another way to complete a task if one of these presents a barrier.

Requirements at an event

Booking forms include a place to describe accessibility requirements. The organiser and authorised people making arrangements can use those details; our privacy notice explains how they are handled.

Tell us about a problem

If something gets in your way, email team@learnersbench.com with the page address, what happened and the format or help you need. We aim to reply within five working days. If you cannot use a booking, ticket or other part of the site, ask us for an alternative way to get the information or complete the task.

If you are unhappy with our response, you can seek advice from the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
